All right, I hope you're having a great morning. My name is George Wright III. I am your host, and you are listening to the Daily Mastermind Podcast, your daily inspiration, motivation, and education. And today, I wanna talk with you about three keys to leveling up your motivation. Not sure if you're struggling with motivation, but today we're gonna give you some ideas on how you could take it to the next level. But let's go ahead and start with the quote of the day. The quote of the day is, it is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness by Seneca. It is a rough road that leads to the heights of greatness by Seneca. I'll tell you what, the road sometimes does feel long. It does feel hard. You might be having some struggles right now. I think a lot of people this time of year do because they're reflecting on their life and where they're at and if they've accomplished things and where they're going, where they've been. You know, it's just, it's a lot of thought-provoking things that happen towards the end of the year, the beginning of the year as you're setting resolutions. But today, it's Wednesday. I want to talk to you about some ways to motivate yourself midweek, some ways that you can really take and level up your level of energy and motivation. And so, you know, look, we know and you've heard me talk about this a lot. It's all about energy. It's all about frequency. and at the end of the day, if you're looking for ways to increase, create your best life, but increase your mindset, your body, your money, your business, your lifestyle, all the things that I generally talk about, it's going to boil down to energy. It's going to boil down to motivation and motivation, even though it is, in my opinion, a short-term thing, right? You can exhaust your motivation very quickly. And sometimes when your life is weighing so heavy on you, it's tough to motivate yourself. It really is. It's tough to find that energy. And so you've got to lean on other things. You've got to lean on strategies and tactics that'll help you to do that. So I want to talk to you today about three ways to level up your environment, your environment. Listen to how I word this because it's very important. whether it's your mindset, your body, your money, your business, your lifestyle, your environment is going to affect you. And that environment can either enhance you or it can take away from you. It can either motivate you or it can draw the energy from you. And so it's very, very important that you look at ways, especially if you're struggling internally yourself, to level up your environment. Now, what do I mean by that? Well, there's three parts that I personally, I'm sure there's more, but there's three parts that I look at when I'm looking to level up my environment, which the by-product is going to be motivation and inspiration. And that is your people, your places, and your practices that you surround yourself with. And so let me say that again your people the people the places and the practices that you have surrounding you in your life So let break that down for just a bit I going to take a few minutes and I going to give you some ideas and some things to think about The first area is people. You've heard this before. You are the average of the people that you surround yourself with. And that's no joke. I mean, in philosophy, it's really the case. Sometimes it's not going to be because if you're playing at this high level and you don't always have those people around you. but listen to the principle of that. You are the average of the people you surround yourself with. So if you're looking for more motivation, you got to surround yourself with positive, you know, energetic, motivated people. And it's a very important thing that the people in your life get upgraded. And I don't mean leaving people behind. I just mean you have to constantly seek people that will help to increase your motivation and level. And, you know, it's a similar saying where you say that your net work is your net worth. Well, that's because there's a direct correlation between the people that you're around and the results you're creating in your life. So you have to look for authenticity. Look for people that are going to be honest, direct with you, that are going to support you. Look for people that are going to contribute. Have people around you that are contributing to you and not just taking away from you. and also look to surround yourself with people that have talent and quality, quality of life, the people that you want to aspire to be like. You can't just surround yourself with people that tell you what you want to hear, and you can't just surround yourself with people that drain your energy all the time. You've got to look for people that are talented and that are quality, and also that align with you. Are the people that you surround yourself aligned with your vision, with your mission, with your purpose. I mean, this is the ultimate definition of the mastermind, right? Two or more people aligned in a common purpose, right? So you want to look for people that are authentic, that contribute, that are motivated and inspired as well. And the other thing is you've got to look at their intentions versus their actions, because there's a lot of people that are transactional in your life. In other words, there's a lot of people that will just drain you of your energy versus add to your energy. And one of the things that you want to look at is that when you surround yourself with the right people in the right environment, people, you're going to get a huge benefit. Sometimes that's belief transference. When you don't believe in yourself and you don't believe in what you're doing, other people might share their belief with you. When you're not sure whether you're confident enough to do things, you don't have the skill set to do things, and you've got people around you that are doing it, that belief transference is going to come to you consciously and subconsciously, and it's going to help you go to the next level. So that's very, very important. The people, you need to upgrade the people in your life so that you can add more motivation to your life. The second area is your places. Now, this is your actual physical environment because you get energy from the things that surround you And it important that the things that surround you the places don drain you of your energy You know what I talking about When you're in an environment like a work type environment or an environment that's very quiet and dull and draining, you need to be in places that create energy, that inspire you. Sometimes it doesn't have to be necessarily loud, but inspire you. And remember the fact that energy comes from motion. Motion creates emotion, creates momentum, creates energy. So if you're looking for motivation, you've got to be surrounding yourself with energy. And keep in mind that whether you're conscious or subconsciously noticing it, your environment is on a frequency that is going to add or subtract from where you're at. Everything in you and in your being and in your life is being taken up with energy or down with energy. And so you've got to be around energy. So look for ways that you can do that and align yourself with environments that feed your vision and your lifestyle. Don't be in areas, and if you can choose to, don't be in areas that are going to take you away from the positive energy you want. And if you don't have a choice and you're in some areas, maybe it's your job, maybe it's where you live and things like this, there are plenty of ways to upgrade your environment with the music you listen to, with the lighting, with the sounds. Sometimes it's just dressing for success. Dress to a place that you feel makes you feel positive. Sometimes people are just so casual with their dress that they don't realize that affects their energy as well. So when I talk about places, I mean the gym, where you work, the family you surround yourself. You know, when you are around environments where you are energized, then when you're low, when you struggle with motivation, when you struggle with energy, those areas will build you up. So sometimes when I'm not feeling good or I'm really run down, I go to the gym because I can be around people that are working hard. Sometimes I go to networking events. Sometimes I get online with Zoom meetings. But you want to surround yourself with an environment and places that will build you up. And then the third area is your practices. Now, you've heard me talk about this a lot because you know I believe in daily rituals. But you need to level up and reset your practices if you want to increase your motivation and your energy. In other words, don't fall into a rut. don't do daily rituals just to do daily rituals. Be specific with your intent. Find ways that the rituals that you, you know, the activities, when I say that, for those of you that are first listening to the podcast, it's the activities you do on a daily basis that help to create habits and results in your life, like meditation, journaling, working out, eating, nutrition, you know whatever that is those activities are I really want you to level up and reset the activities and the practices you have in your life Find ones that specifically inspire and motivate you Sometimes when I low on motivation my go-to is podcasts and music and things like that. When I'm not low on motivation, it might be reading and journaling and things like that. So if you're struggling, yes, journaling might help you. But if you're struggling, sometimes what you need is you need the motivation and energy that comes from a podcast or a video or someone else like a mentor that can help you. So upgrade your practices, change it up, be specific with your intent, and then also learn to count the win. See, when you're stacking wins, you're going to motivate yourself. So, you know, don't be critical of yourself. I've only done three of my five daily rituals. It's a win. You've got to train your brain, train your mind to recognize success, Train your mind to recognize the wins. And when you train your mind to recognize the wins, we all know what that means. When you feel like a winner, you have more energy, you have more motivation. So train yourself to track the wins. So I'm gonna end with this thought. I want you to just really sincerely ask yourself this. Are you happy with the results that you're getting in your life? And if you're not happy with those results, if you don't feel like you are where you need to be, why not? What is it that's holding you back? What are the obstacles? Is it your energy? Is it the people? Is it the opportunities? What are the obstacles holding you back? And that'll lead you to solutions because we always look for solutions. What's going to help you get past that? Recognize that if it's not, if you can't do it on your own, get a mentor, get a coach, surround yourself with a mastermind. If it's your environment, upgrade your environment. If it's the people in your life, upgrade the people in your life. And if it's the daily rituals, upgrade your rituals. And I just want to give you this one piece of feedback. Lean into your fear. Get outside your comfort zone. Leverage your environment to help you. But most importantly, learn to love the game of life and the game of business because it really is just a game. You got to remember that. It's just a game. You're going to be fine. You're going to get through whatever you're struggling with. It's going to happen. Whatever you're trying to accomplish, you'll create it. You'll figure it out. You've got this. You've got the abilities and it's never too late to start living the life you're meant to live and it's never too late to start upgrading and leveling up the areas that can help you even outside of yourself. The people, the places, and the practices. That's my message for today. I hope you have an amazing day. I'd love to hear from you.
