Are you still trying to build your dream life all on your own? What if the key to unlocking your next level of success is surrounding yourself with the right people who share your vision? Could tapping into the power of a Mastermind be the missing piece to help you move faster, think bigger, and achieve more?
Welcome back to The Daily Mastermind. I’m George Wright III, and as always, I’m here to give you your daily dose of inspiration, motivation, and education—so you can continue building the life you were meant to live.
Today I want to talk about one of the most powerful success principles ever shared: The Mastermind.
The Mastermind principle is the reason I started this podcast and created the Daily Mastermind mobile app. It’s more than a buzzword—it’s a foundational strategy for growth that’s been used by some of the greatest minds in history.
I first encountered the concept in Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill. If you’ve read it, you know how transformative it can be. If you haven’t, get a copy. It’s been in print for over 80 years and has sold more than 100 million copies for a reason.
But reading it isn’t enough. The real power comes from applying its principles. And for me, it started during a time of struggle.
About five years ago, I found myself stuck—personally and professionally. Late one night, unable to sleep, I was listening to Hill’s Outwitting the Devil. In chapter three, Hill described a moment in his life that felt a lot like mine: lost, discouraged, questioning everything.
He’d already written Laws of Success. He had achieved success—but then lost it all in the Great Depression. His estate, assets, confidence—gone. Sitting outside the Lincoln Memorial, he questioned whether he even believed in the principles he taught.
Then something shifted.
He remembered two things that changed everything:
Hill realized that isolation was keeping him stuck. And I could relate.
I had been grinding solo, trying to push through on my own. Like many entrepreneurs, I felt the pressure, the responsibility, the loneliness of going it alone. But after hearing Hill’s realization, I made a decision. I wouldn’t keep building by myself.
That’s what inspired me to start The Daily Mastermind—to build one of the world’s largest communities of entrepreneurs focused on personal growth, financial education, and shared support.
Now it’s your turn to tap into the same power.
Let’s first be clear on what it’s not.
A Mastermind isn’t:
A true Mastermind is about coordinated effort with aligned purpose.
Here’s how Napoleon Hill defines it:
“A mastermind alliance is the coordination of knowledge and effort in a spirit of harmony between two or more people for the attainment of a definite purpose.”
And the benefits are powerful:
In short, a Mastermind multiplies your effort, sharpens your thinking, and expands your reach.
If this resonates with you, here are a few practical steps to get started:
If you’ve been trying to do everything on your own, it’s time to change that.
You're already tapping into the power of a Mastermind simply by listening to this podcast. But now it’s time to level up. Take what you’ve learned and apply it. Find your group. Create your alliance. Stay aligned with your purpose—and never settle.
Remember: it’s never too late to start creating the life you were meant to live.
