all right welcome back to the daily mastermind George Wright III with your daily dose of inspiration motivation and education and let's get you started with the daily mastermind quote of the day be so good at what you do that we cannot ignore you from Robin Sharma be so good at what you do that we cannot ignore you Let me just actually rephrase that for you. If you're having a hard time making your mark, if you maybe have had some circumstances hit you, if you've had, maybe you just feel like you haven't gotten your fair shake, or maybe people have criticized you or made fun of you or, you know, picked on you, whatever it is, that is amazing advice. Be so good that they can't ignore you. See, so many people are out there trying to get attention. And what you've got to do is, you've got to learn to let attention speak for itself. Your actions speak for itself. In other words, just be so good at what you do that they won't ignore you. Now, I'm glad you're listening today. And if this is your first time listening to the show, we're doing daily five to seven minute episodes. It's kind of your daily dose to keep you focused on creating your best life, unleashing your best potential and growing into the best version of yourself. Every week, we'll also have some key interviews that will drop in on individuals that I've met throughout the years. They might be new people or they might be people that have spoken for me. I've had the opportunity and benefit and I'm super grateful for being able to work with a lot of thought leaders and authors, celebrities, experts, many of you know from the events I've run all over the world. And, you know, I'm really grateful for that. And this is my way to give back. I don't sell anything on the show. I don't have any sponsors. This is kind of a passion project of mine. But if you haven't downloaded the Daily Mastermind mobile app, I'm definitely going to encourage you to do that because I put a ton of great resources in there for you on the go. E-books, audio books, meditations, journaling. We've got the podcast, blog articles. I mean, there's all kinds of free resources for you to use in your daily rituals. Now, remember, this week we're focused on prosperity pillar number four, which is surround yourself with positive people so you can gain those benefits. And one of the most positive people that I've been influenced by in my life is one of my mentors, Robert Stuburg. And so we've been talking all week about one of his key things that he used to hammer on me and that was daily reminders Daily reminders because the battleground is the day It not tomorrow It not last year It not last week It today And so daily reminders is the key. So let me ask you a couple of really important questions. Do you feel like you're wandering sometimes, sort of drifting? Do you ever feel like you're just not making progress in your life or you're not getting the results that you want? Let's say maybe you wake up some days and you think, man, I'd like to be able to work on my schedule, but my schedule is working on me. Do you have priorities you want to get to, but you never get to them because it feels like your life is running you. Well, if you feel that way, sometimes what happens is you feel like you're getting off track. You're getting away from your goals. You're getting away from the things that you want in life. And it's so important that you have patience, give yourself some, give yourself some patience and understand that things will try to derail you, but it's so important that you learn to get back on track. I remember, um, you know, and as a CEO and a CMO, I have so many times that I get derailed from things out of left field. But as long as you can remind yourself to get on, get back on track, then you're going to be good. And I'm going to give you today five specific tangible things that you can use if you feel like you're off track. Things that you can incorporate into your day that'll help you to stay on track to your goals. Because as long as you're making progress, then you're going to feel better. You're going to get the results that you want overall. And so there's five things that I would recommend. And these are ones that I've picked up over the years as well. One is take control of your thoughts by focusing on growth and improvement. My mentor, Robert Stuber, talks a lot about that. Take control of your thoughts by focusing on growth and improvement because, see, we all have a philosophy and a perspective. And if you learn to create that perspective that things happen to you for your benefit, they're not happening to you, they're happening for you, then that's one thing you can do to keep track and keep going on your goal is if you're focused on growth and improvement then things that happen along the way will just take you closer to your goal the second thing is I want you to feed and strengthen your mind your emotions your body and especially your spirit every single day you know so many people feel like I going to do this I gonna grind I gonna go into my business but I gonna neglect my my health and my body and my mind and my time because I can worry about myself later once I accomplished what I want to accomplish But what you don realize is that and please don kid yourself your physical and mental health is going to determine your ability to create success and happiness And so take time. Make sure that you're eating right, you're drinking water, you have a workout routine. I promise you, it doesn't make sense maybe in the beginning or even during while you're doing it. But when you work out your body, motion creates emotion, creates energy, creates progress. And so it's so important. And sometimes when you're in a rut, the best thing you can do is get up, move around, move your body. And so feed and strengthen your mind, emotions, body, and spirit. Third, choose your role models carefully. Choose your role models carefully. How many of you right now are following people online that you think have actually created the results that you want? the problem is most of you may not know what you want but the others you may be doing something and be very very careful who you're following because what do you want to accomplish once you determine what you want to accomplish be super honest with yourself are you following someone that has done it is it someone that you can get advice from if not you need to find role models mentors coaches individuals to help you but look for people and follow role models that are where you want to be in life. You know, for the longest time, I thought I was following role models that were accomplishing the level of success that I wanted. Like maybe you want to be a doctor. Maybe you want to be desk. Make sure that that's the life that you want. Make sure that you have the freedom you want, the relationships you want, the communication you want. Choose your role models carefully. That'll keep you on track. Number four, work on your unique talent every day without exception. Now, if you haven't heard me say this before, this is something that Roberts talked about very, very often. And it's your unique talent, your unique ability. And what is that? That is something that you're excellent and that you're passionate about. Excellent and passionate about. See, the problem is most of us are working, most of our lives in areas we're competent at, not excellent at. And frankly, a lot of people work at things they're incompetent at. But most of you are stuck in competence and you're not working in areas you're excellent at. But the unique talent comes when you're excellent and passionate about it. See I can run operations I can work through detail and strategy all the day long but I passionate about making impact I passionate about working with individuals to help them uncover what they need to move to the next level. So find ways to work inside your unique talent every day, every single day. If you want to write a book, if you want to be a speaker, if you want to create impact, if you want to be able to help others, if you want to be able to follow your invention. If you want to be able to, you know, whatever it is that you're passionate about, make time for it every day. And then the last one to keep on track and stay on track with your goals, number five is focus on the most powerful emotions that you can use to create your life. And those would be faith, courage, resolve, compassion, and gratitude. Faith, courage, resolve, compassion, and gratitude. These are five very, very powerful emotions. Now I'm going to talk to you a little bit about that tomorrow, but I want you to remember something and remind yourself this. What we're really seeking in life are the emotions that most of the things you're chasing are going to give you. In other words, you might want a bigger house or a better lifestyle or to travel or to make more money or a better relationship or drive a nice car or have a nice watch. But the bottom line is this. I would argue that what you're really looking for are the emotions that those things are going to give you. The happiness, the security, the gratitude, the success, the health, whatever those emotions are. And the crazy thing is, you can create those emotions right now. But I'm telling you, and we'll talk about it tomorrow, faith, courage, resolve, compassion, and gratitude are some of the most powerful emotions you can use in order to create your best life. And so I want to leave that with you today. And I want you to realize something that's very important. And that is if you feel like you're off track, if you feel like you've been going off track for a while and you don't know what to do, stop and remember that you can make the decision right now to go in the right direction, to get back on track, to do what it takes. Use those five strategies that I just talked to you about. Basically, look and control your thoughts and focus on growth. Feed your mind, body, and spirit. Choose your role models. Work on your unique talent and focus on powerful emotions that'll move you and you will get on track. That's my message for today. I hope you have an amazing day.
